Veterans
Welcome to the veterans' page of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Association.
This page is dedicated to providing information, resources, and support for our veterans and their families across the UK. Whether you are looking for advice on wellbeing, activities, adjustment to civilian life, mental health, money matters, self- help, or opportunities in our communities, we hope you will find something useful here.
Our Goal
We are devoted to helping all veterans of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders who have bravely served their country and are now seeking opportunities to improve their lives. We partner with SSAFA Forces Help and other service charities, who are reliable organisations that help veterans and their families, to provide tailored support for each individual case. We have a skilled Welfare Manager who authorises and monitors the grants we give. We deliver the grants to SSAFA Forces Help and other service charities, who then take care of the expenditure on behalf of the veterans. Our work helps the veterans achieve greater well-being, independence, and dignity, as well as contributing to the social cohesion and security of our society.
