Stirling 900 Parade

Stirling are rounding off the celebratory year of 900th Anniversary events with the Stirling 900 parade on Saturday 29th of March, 2025.  The parade will step off from the Stirling Castle Esplanade at 12pm, weaving through the city centre, over Stirling Bridge and out to the Rugby Club. Come and watch the Stirling 900 Parade as it makes its way through the heart of the city!

Whilst the museum are not directly involved in this parade, this will impact facilities available to those who are wanting to visit the museum. The esplanade will be closed all day to vehicles, so if you’re visiting us or the castle, you will need to make alternative travel and parking arrangements. This includes any museum volunteers, staff and blue badge holders.

You can use the Castleview Park & Ride (off junction 10 of the M9 motorway) and get off at the Old Town Jail, more information can be found here: https://shorturl.at/F4wTt
