Accessing Stirling Castle

Further information regarding accessibility at Stirling Castle can be found on their Accessing the Castle page.

Quiet Times

Visit us during a Quiet Time, it is a great way to explore the Museum if you, a friend or family member, has Autism, Dementia or other additional needs and would prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. The Museum will be free of crowds, and video screens, interactives and sound will be turned down or off. We aim to provide a Quiet Time from 9.30 to 10.30 on the third Saturday of every month.

Quiet Space

A quiet space is available if you or a member of your group requires time away from the galleries. A member of staff or volunteer will show you to the room.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in the Museum. They must be kept on the lead and not left unattended.
